The 2008 jobsMARKET is a comprehensive employment fair, providing employers and job seekers with the opportunity to meet face-to-face to discuss employment opportunities. Employers are able to recruit and interview on-site. Job seekers can take advantage of resume writing workshops, Job Search Central, as well as the opportunity to be interviewed by employers on site.

This trade show style event provides access to the "hidden job market". Since the inception of the jobsMARKET events in 1997, over 120,000 job seekers and over 1,800 employers have attended these events in Southern Ontario and greater Toronto. Over 40,000 job vacancies were posted during these 24 events. Employer and job seeker participant comments have been overwhelmingly positive.
